Explore the stunning sights and epic scenery as you journey through the rugged bushveld of Kruger National Park and the Western Cape discovering what culinary delights lie between!
Itinerary:
Day 1: Johannesburg
Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Melrose
Arch.
Day 2: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
After breakfast, transfer by road to the Timbavati region of Kruger National Park. Upon arrival, explore this reserve in Kruger on your first game drive in South Africa.
Day 3-4: Kruger NP
The next couple of days are spent exploring the national park and the incredible wildlife on stunning game drives and bush walks, plus, sharing experiences with a traditional Shangaan village.
Days 5: Kruger National Park to Cape Town
Early morning road transfer to Johannesburg International Airport, board regional flight to Cape Town. Arrival transfer to hotel in the city centre. Champagne & Oysters (snacks) at the Mount Nelson Cocktail Bar.
Days 6: FRANSCHHOEK
Morning road transfer to Franschhoek, orientation walk of town centre and local sights, visit to Huguenots Fine Chocolate for a chocolate tour and tasting.
Days 7: STELLENBOSCH
Morning transfer to Stellenbosch for orientation walk of the town centre, wine tasting at Tokara Olive and Wine farm, followed by a conducted cellar and wine tour with lunch at Blaauwklipping Wine Estate.
Days 8: Cape Town- Cape Whale Coast
Morning transfer to Cape Town, Table Mountain Cable Car excursion followed by picnic lunch at Groot Constantia (weather depending; will deviate to the indoor restaurant for the a la carte menu).
Days 9: Cape Town
Morning Cape Peninsula tour via Chapman’s Peak and visit to the Chapman’s Peak Vineyards, Cape Point Nature Reserve, False Bay coastline, Simons Town and Boulders Beach Penguins.
Days 10 & 11: Cape Town
Morning at leisure to explore the V&A Waterfront, afternoon transfer to The Cellars Hohenhort for a Cape Malay cooking class.
